The Travel Section at UC Berkeley’s Comparative Literature Undergraduate Journal accepts editor applications at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.
Editors at the Travel Section join a team of fellow undergrads to read and discuss non-academic travel writing submissions on all aspects of life abroad from authors around the world. Each editor is eventually assigned to an author and charged with accompanying his or her chosen piece through the editing and publishing process. Most work is done through email, excluding semi-regular in-person staff meetings. The job requires a passion for travel, a knack for writing, and a little time.
Staff applications can be found here.
(Editors must be undergraduate UCB students.)
